Indeed it is so, Eva, there are two hills near Kampong Cham with the same name. I am sure there are more sets of hills in Cambodia that go by boy and girl hill.

I thought Phnom Srey and Phnom Proh are two mountains near Kampong Cham, along national Route 7. Isn’t it so?

Hi Stefan,

Yes, this is a very nice report. The German organisation, that reconstructed the Wat Roka Kandal pagoda is the Chamber of Skilled Crafts of Koblenz (Handwerkskammer Koblenz) in cooperation with the Cambodian Craft Cooperation (CCC), which is running this place as a centre for wicker-work handicraft. I was in charge as project coordinator when I was working with the CCC from 1997-2005 in Cambodia.
