Hey Stefan,

I came across your website and have followed through your adventurous trip throughout Cambodian countryside. I was born in Cambodia and currently living in Canada since 1980s. Based on the description of your trip, I believed � way en route from Kampong Chhnang to Kompong Thom was my escape route in early 1977 during the killing fields. It �s a d�j� vu for me when viewing your photographs. What a fantastic website you are doing here. It’s really interesting to read. I missed the countryside landscape of Cambodia. Good job Stefan

Hello from Japan! Perhaps I was as glad to see the National Road 6 marker as you were at the time. Probably not though I’ve actually been looking quite a while for a picture of such a marker so I have a better idea of the shape around the number. This will greatly help my ongoing project to locate, research, travel to and photograph the world’s roads named “42,” found on my webpage linked above. I suspect Cambodia’s 42 is unmarked, since different maps put it in different places. It branches off Road 4 from somewhere, though. Anyhow, I’ve enjoyed reading of your adventures so far!

First, I felt worried about the resumption from the temple’s gate in Kampong Chnang that you might lost your way and got in a dangerous area.
